Using the Power over Ethernet Passthrough functionality, additional devices such as IP cameras can be integrated into the network directly via the access point with minimal installation effort. Dual concurrent Wi-Fi 6 with aggregated data rate of up to 3,550 Mbps The LANCOM OX-6400 provides clients with Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) simultaneously in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. With Wi-Fi 6 technology, this enables transmission speeds of up to 2,400 Mbps in 5 GHz and up to 1,150 Mbps in 2.4 GHz. PoE passthrough for flexible power supply with minimal installation effort The LANCOM OX-6400 can be operated both via Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802.3at and via PoE according to IEEE 802.3bt. When connected to a switch with PoE according to IEEE 802.3bt, the access point is also able to supply another PoE-capable device such as an IP camera via PoE Passthrough. This means that the devices can be placed completely independently of existing power outlets – minimizing the need for complex cabling in outdoor areas and saving installation costs at the same time. Integrated sector antenna and easy mounting The LANCOM OX-6400 has an integrated dual-band sector antenna. With its wide beam angle of 70°, it supports simultaneous 4x4 MU-MIMO operation in the frequency bands 2.4 and 5 GHz. This makes the OX-6400 ideal for covering open spaces such as parking lots, courtyards, parks or sports areas. Depending on the requirements profile, it can also be used to cover grandstands in high-density environments, to provide targeted Wi-Fi coverage in corridors and high-bay warehouses, or to ensure Wi-Fi availability in cold storage facilities. The internal antenna design enables simple device mounting, as no additional external antennas need to be attached. Secure integration of external users Using a cloud-managed hotspot via LANCOM Management Cloud, the LANCOM OX-6400 is ideal for the provision of Wi-Fi hotspots. The user benefits from secure and user-friendly Wi-Fi access, and the hotspot provider has the security of knowing that its own network is separate from the guest network. Zero-touch deployment with the LANCOM Management Cloud Fast and easy network integration of the access point as well as automatic configuration assignment - without manual configuration.
